Here is my 3D take on the amazing Aleksandr Nikonov's artwork Priest 0101. Modeled in both ZBrush and Maya, retopo and UV layout in 3D-Coat. The textures were hand-painted in Substance Painter 2 .
The character is at around 27k tris and the staff is at 10k tris. The character uses 3 UVs; one for the head, one for misc. plus the staff and one for the rest of the body - they're all 2k except for the body's normal map (4k).
